Construction Standards

HRRSA's Construction Standards were adopted by the HRRSA Board of Directors and shall be followed for all work that occurs in HRRSA easements or impacts a HRRSA-owned sewer line or other asset.  The Standards include administrative requirements for plan review and submittals, design standards, standard specifications and details.

Plan review is to be conducted in strict coordination with HRRSA's five member jurisdictions;  the City of Harrisonburg, the Towns of Bridgewater, Dayton and Mount Crawford and Rockingham County may have separate plan approval processes. Securing of local government approval in no way constitutes HRRSA's approval or exempts the applicant from meeting all applicable HRRSA requirements.
